🇷🇸 Январь близится к концу, пора подводить итоги первого месяца визовой либерализации

▪️ С 1 по 15 января 2024 года, согласно сводкам «косовской пограничной полиции», только через наземные КПП Косово и Метохию покинули 511 604 человек.

▪️ По сравнению с тем же периодом 2023 года, когда выехали 446 178 человек, рост составил 10,2% (65.426 человек)

▪️ По данным «полиции», за тот же двухнедельный период из КиМ через аэропорт Приштины вылетели 155 816 пассажиров, что на 13,2% больше, чем за тот же период 2023 года.

В целом, ничего удивительного. То, что албанцы начнут массово покидать Косово и Метохию было известно задолго до вступления в силу визовой либерализации.

Однако бегство приобретает настолько массовый характер, что «косовские власти» уже начали хаотично строчить сообщения, что многие едут ненадолго, все возвращаются, въехавших автобусов больше, чем уехавших и тд.

Кто последний покинет КиМ, выключите свет.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
