🔹 آلودگی نوری وجود نورهای اضافه در محیط است که تاثیرات مخربی بر محیط‌زیست، حیات حیوانات و گیاهان و همچنین سلامت انسان دارد زیرا با خارج کردن شب از حالت طبیعی خود، ساعت بیولوژیکی بدن ما را نیز بهم می‌زد.
🔹 هرچند چشم‌های ما به این نوع از آلودگی عادت کرده است، اما با خاموش کردن چراغ‌های اضافی در ساعت زمین می‌توانیم حتی برای مدت کوتاهی به زمین فرصت استراحت دهیم.
