Статус полноправного субъекта государства наш регион получил 2 января 1947 года. Это один из итогов Победы во Второй мировой войне: после безоговорочной капитуляции Японии Россия вернула южный Сахалин и Курилы.
Сахалинская область – уникальна как по своему географическому положению, так и по разнообразию природных богатств. Здесь живут люди с особым складом характера – волевые и целеустремлённые, настоящие патриоты своей малой Родины.

"For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
