В Горно-Алтайском городском суде государственный обвинитель выступил в прениях и просил признать Сергея Михайлова виновным и назначить ему наказание в виде 9 лет лишения свободы с запретом на журналистскую деятельность и администрирование сайтов.
Михайлова задержали в подмосковных Люберцах в апреле 2022 года, после чего перевезли в Горно-Алтайск. Журналиста обвиняют в публичном распространении заведомо ложной информации об использовании Вооруженных сил России по мотиву политической ненависти и вражды (п. «д» ч.2 ст.207.3 УК РФ).
По мнению следствия, в марте-апреле 2022 он опубликовал в телеграм-канале «ЛИСтка» и на сайте издания несколько заметок об убийствах мирных жителей Бучи и обстрелах Мариуполя.
Михайлов вину не признает и заявляет, что он не принимает решений о размещении материалов на сайте и в канале издания, поскольку это прерогатива главного редактора.
Сторона защиты выступит в прениях на следующей неделе.
