Так, 21 декабря на III народном курултае президент Садыр Жапаров заявил о том, что многочисленные американские НПО, находящиеся в Кыргызстане и напрямую финансируемые из США, «занимаются не совсем той деятельностью, которую декларируют, а участие же в этом вопросе консульских служб США и Госдепа совершенно недопустимо».
