Это необычный по звучанию альбом, отличающийся от своего студийного предшественника (Jazz 1978-го). И год был насыщенный творчеством, - имеем в виду саундтрек Queen к фильму Flash Gordon с особым, космическим звучанием. Мы считаем, что это недостаточно оценённая поклонниками работа.
«Another One Bites the Dust» была написана бас-гитаристом Queen Джоном Диконом. Что показательно – Queen был не сольным проектом Меркьюри, а творческим сплавом всех участников. Что это такое, насколько ценно было сотрудничество, можно легко оценить, сравнив сольные и успешные попытки Меркьюри и классические альбомы Queen.
И всё же … Чем была бы «Another One Bites the Dust» без голоса Фредди? Без его энергии? Только с ним она стала не стареющей классикой, любимой, в том числе и молодыми бас-гитаристами.
