قال فقيه بلاد اليمن محمد بن علي الشوكاني – رحمه الله – عن الاحتفال بالمولد النبوي في “فتاويه" (٢/ ١٠٨٧-١٠٨٨):
«لم أجد إلى الآن دليلًا يدل على ثبوته من كتاب، ولا سُنة، ولا إجماع، ولا قياس، ولا استدلال. بل أجمع المسلمون: أنَّه لم يوجد في عصر خير القرون، ولا الذين يلونهم، ولا الذين يلونهم. ولم يُنكر أحد مِن المسلمين: أنَّه بدعة».اهـ

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war.
