زمانی که به حدود ۱۲۰۰۰ ماهواره برسد، آن پوشش مورد انتظار فراهم خواهد شد.
ابتدا در آمریکای شمالی به نتیجه خواهد رسید که دست کم به چندصد ماهواره نیاز است نه با این ۶۰ ماهواره.
در ۲۰۱۹ دو بار دیگر پرتاب خواهند داشت که ممکن است تعداد ماهواره‌ها به ۷۲۰ برسد. (پوشش آمریکای شمالی، حتی آن هم یک ماه دیگر نیست و احتمال ۲۰۲۰ مطرح است.) این پروژه به تدریج در دهه‌ی آینده‌ی میلادی، احتمالا تا ۲۰۲۷ تکمیل می‌شود.
زمانی که دست کم ۴۰۰ ماهواره‌ی این پروژه در سراسر جو زمین قرار گیرند حداقلی از پوشش پدید می‌آید و با تعداد ۸۰۰ ماهواره پوشش متوسطی حاصل می‌شود.

♦️این پروژه، یک پروژه‌ی انتفاعی است نه رایگان؛ اسپیسکس روی درآمد آن برای پروژه‌های بلندپروازانه‌ی سفر به مریخ حساب کرده است.

♦️برای ارتباط با این ماهواره‌ها، گوشی موبایل معمولی کارایی ندارد.
