Центральное бюро расследований Индии (CBI) сообщило о задержании 4 человек по подозрению в торговле людьми и вербовке местных жителей в армию России.
«CBI раскрыло крупную сеть торговли людьми, действовавшую по всей стране и нацеленную на доверчивых молодых людей. Торговцы людьми действовали как организованная сеть и заманивали граждан Индии через социальные сети, обещая им высокооплачиваемую работу в России», — говорится в заявлении CBI в соцсети X.
В документе сказано, что в отношении нескольких частных визовых фирм и агентов, которые занимались вербовкой, возбуждено уголовное дело.

This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children.
