Украина намерена с помощью союзников выработать меры для наказания Монголии за то, что монгольские власти не арестовали президента России Владимира Путина во время его визита в эту страну, несмотря на ордер Международного уголовного суда.
Пресс-секретарь МИД Украины Георгий Тихий заявил, что невыполнение ордера монгольскими властями нанесло тяжелый удар по МУС.
Путин прибыл в Монголию для участия в торжественных мероприятиях, приуроченных к годовщине победы над японскими войсками на Халхин-Голе. Еще до визита стало ясно, что монгольские власти не будут выполнять ордер МУС.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
