По словам губернатора Самарской области Дмитрия Азарова, пациентов государственных больниц подталкивают к оплате услуг, которые должны оказываться бесплатно, путём назначения более долгих сроков их оказания. Глава региона также обратил внимание на неэффективность работы государственных медучреждений.
Комиссия должна проверить обращения граждан по каждому медицинскому учреждению на предмет того, нет ли фактов подталкивания людей к получению услуг на платной основе.

In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai.
