На банкноту нанесены изображения башни Сююмбике с полумесяцем и Музея истории государственности татарского народа и РТ. Ранее они вызвали споры общественности, так как некоторые посчитали, что на купюре изобразили храм без креста.
Официально о причинах решения доработать дизайн не сообщается. Сейчас выпуск банкноты приостановлен. В широкое обращение она не поступила.
