В 2024 открылось 964 автосалонов, специализирующихся на китайских автомобилях, а закрылось 449, то есть в 2,4 раза больше, чем за 2023 год. На российском рынке функционировало 66 китайских брендов.
Во многих случаях дилеры сами разрывали контракты, не сумев получить прибыль. В некоторых случаях на этом настаивали и дистрибуторы.
Чтобы бренд остался на русском автомобильном рынке, ему необходимо продавать от 100 000 автомобилей в год. Крупные марки Geely, Chery, Haval, Changan и GAC с лёгкостью достигают таких результатов.
Дополнительно автостат указывает на то, что в 2025 году рынок новых легковых автомобилей может сократиться на 10%. В основном виноваты: рост ключевой ставки, увеличение утилизационного сбора, обесценивание рубля и подорожание автомобилей.
