При моём глубоком уважении к С. Деану, каждый раз, когда слушаю его большие лекции, мне становится скучно, потому что он просто рассказывает все современные исследования на тему, не объединяя их какой-то общей идеей.
Возможно, так и надо делать настоящему учёному (не измышлять гипотез, то есть), но по-моему, это всё слушать очень скучно и непонятно, что с этой горой информации делать.
Такое же впечатление у меня от книги “How we learn” (издавалась на русском).
