Глава МИД КНР Ван И в ходе переговоров отметил, что в Токио следует объективно оценивать развитие Китая. Сторонам важно соблюдать достигнутый консенсус о том, что две страны являются партнерами, а не угрозой друг для друга.
Такэси Ивая подчеркнул, что Япония готова укреплять взаимное доверие, расширять сотрудничество с Китаем и решать проблемы в двусторонних отношениях.
