Маршрут эстафеты – 11 километров, он включает главные достопримечательности Харбина. Забег завершится в тематическом парке «Большой мир льда и снега». Огонь зажгут в пятницу во время церемонии открытия Азиатских игр, он будет гореть до закрытия соревнований 14 февраля.
Специально для Игр создали факел с уникальным дизайном. Он выполнен в форме сирени, основные цвета – красный, фиолетовый и белый. Они символизируют искренность, гостеприимность и открытость провинции Хэйлунцзян, где пройдут международные соревнования.
