Храм в деревне Сторожно за 200 км от Петербурга на берегу Ладоги, там, где мы с Ириной венчаны, выглядит практически как кафедральный собор.
Причина такого широкого строительства – в меценатстве. Средства на храм по легенде XVI века были пожертвованы раскаявшимся ушкуйником (разбойником) Кудеяром, в иночестве Киприаном.

Последняя реставрация храма во имя Святого Николая Чудотворца начата в 2000-е годы тоже не без помощи добровольных жертвователей.
