Throwing it back to December and sharing some memories from the inaugural Wollombi Gravel Fest.
A wonderful weekend bringing the gravel community together in a very social environment and making new friends along the way.
We loved discovering the gravel roads of the quiet Wollombi Valley. Definitely a little gravel paradise that’s only 2hr drive from central Sydney.
Off the bike we were spoilt with so much local food and drinks and enjoyed sharing our signature G+T, oathgin with fevertreeaustralia tonic with everyone.
A big thank you to scrymogram + the entire myrtleandstone team for inviting and hosting us, and to everyone who came along and joined us for the inaugural event. Also, shoutout to the local community for being so welcoming.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered.
