Окружают ее лишь двое — дворецкий Ферруччио и домработница Бруна, а еще пара любимых песелей. Мария страдает от неисследованной болезни, пьет лекарства, туманящие разум, и вспоминает свою молодость (горькую и популярную).
Ларраин вновь возносит свою героиню до высот. Анджелина Джоли не только вживается в образ Каллас, но и обретает крылья. Настолько потрясающей игры давно не было на экранах.
Да и умение чилийца работать с кадром не пропало. Он играет с цветами, убегает в прошлое с ч/б и воссоздает одну из самых красивых квартир в киномире. Мастер…
Фоморейтинг: 9/10. Джоли очевидно заслужила себе не только номинацию на «Оскар», но и саму статуэтку. Великая!

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
