Машина вполне использовалась как командирская, из них делали БТР-ы, а после войны их себе закупила армия Нидерландов, переставив на них 75-мм орудия. Да и в целом этот танк не выглядел сильно устаревшим даже в 1944 году, всего-то пушку поменять (после войны поменяли). Тут скорее вопрос экономический, зачем дергаться самим, если проще у США взять "Шерманы". #canadiantanks
