По версии следствия, Белая в ноябре 2018 года подговорила Сушкевич ввести смертельную дозу сульфата магния недоношенному младенцу с экстремально низкой массой тела, так как опасалась ухудшения статистики роддома. Сушкевич говорила, что младенец, находившийся в тяжелом состоянии, скончался из-за того, что результатов не дали введение адреналина и прямой массажа сердца, пишет «Медиазона».
18 декабря 2024 года 1-й апелляционный суд отменил приговор. Однако Сушкевич и Белая до сих пор находятся в СИЗО.
