От всей души поздравляю с днём рождения русского писателя Германа Садулаева! Герман талантлив, последователен в своих убеждениях, тактичен, тверд и прям, без метаний и камня за пазухой. Я читал все его книги - это настоящая русская литература! Год назад Герман отмечал свой день рождения в Донецке, мы тогда встретились и много говорили о войне, о мире, о литературе. Как раз тогда завершалась тяжелейшая битва за Авдеевку. Герман был спокоен, уверен в правоте нашего общего дела. И заражал этой уверенностью всех окружающих. Есть такие люди, самим присутствием укрепляющие мир вокруг себя. С праздником, Герман! Живи долго! Русский писатель должен жить долго!

Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels.
