Житель Арзамаса создал в соцсетях поддельный аккаунт с фото незнакомки, скачанной из сети и познакомился с 46-летним жителем столицы Чувашии. Как рассказал сам задержанный, в разговоре он имитировал женский голос.
Когда дело дошло до договоренностей об интиме, представлявшийся девушкой нижегородец попросил задаток – 38 тысяч рублей. Получив деньги, он прекратил общение с мужчиной. А чебоксарец, поняв, что его обманули, пошел в полицию.
В отношении 31-летнего жителя Арзамаса завели дело о мошенничестве. Сейчас он под подпиской о невыезде.

He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
