В особняке темнота обретает форму
бреда - и смуты, гибельной и разгульной.
Выстрелом выбив каменный глаз грифону,
пьяный матрос по душам говорит с гаргульей.

Плачет повстанец — и как бы кивает демон.
«Что, страховидная, тоже ты контра, что ли?
Ишь, как тебя мировой капитал уделал.
Но не замай, и тебе теперь вдоволь воли».

Время к суконному переходить веселью -
на драпировочных бархатах, плюшах, фетрах,
там, где братва разберётся сейчас с мамзелью,
так же по-братски, как с тем, что найдёт в буфетах.

Душный декор отражается в липких лужах
водки, мочи и залившей паркеты крови.
И разминает освобождённый ужас
ржавые крылья на псевдоготичной кровле.
