Суд запретил астраханским властям убивать бездомных собак, которым не нашли хозяев за две недели
Апелляционный суд в Сочи по иску зоозащитников 20 августа отменил два пункта закона об убийстве бездомных собак в Астраханской области, сообщил юрист Сергей Егоров.
Усыплять запретили животных в приютах, которым не нашли хозяев за 15 дней. А также собак выше 40 сантиметров в холке — они в законе по умолчанию считались опасными для людей. Теперь в регионе разрешено убивать только агрессивных и нежизнеспособных собак.
Ранее убивать собак, которым не нашли хозяев в короткий срок, запретили суды в Оренбургской области и Бурятии. В Магаданской области депутаты исключили такую норму из закона по требованию прокуратуры.
