В данных за 28 января имеется усиление межпланетных мерцаний в утреннее время на гелиоцентрических расстояниях от 0,8 до 1,0 астрономической единицы, которое может быть связано с коротирующей области взаимодействия, предсказанной накануне, но не вызвавшей магнитной бури. Сильных солнечных вспышек вблизи линии «Солнце-Земля» за последние трое суток не происходило.
