Полицейские, прибывшие на место происшествия, внимательно изучили записи с камер видеонаблюдения. Как оказалось, кражи были совершены несколько раз в разные дни одним и тем же злоумышленником. Им оказался 17-летний студент колледжа, который позднее признался в краже сладостей с прилавка магазина. Молодой человек объяснил свои действия намерением сбыть похищенные конфеты. Возбуждено уголовное дело.
