Россияне в 2022 году заняли первое место среди нерезидентов по покупке недвижимости в Дубае (ОАЭ), сообщило агентство Bloomberg со ссылкой на данные брокерской компании Betterhomes. По подсчетам компании, в прошлом году в Дубае было зарегистрировано более 86 тысяч сделок купли-продажи жилья, что превысило предыдущий рекорд в 80 тысяч сделок, установленный в 2009 году. В 2022 году было продано недвижимости на сумму около 208 миллиардов дирхамов (56,6 миллиарда долларов), что почти на 80% больше, чем годом ранее. Цены за год в среднем выросли на 11% против прироста в 21% в 2021 году.

What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Crude oil prices edged higher after tumbling on Thursday, when U.S. West Texas intermediate slid back below $110 per barrel after topping as much as $130 a barrel in recent sessions. Still, gas prices at the pump rose to fresh highs. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events."
