В год написания песни Красная армия будет разгромлена поляками, в плен попадут больше 100 тысяч красноармейцев, половина из них будет умучена в концлагерях. А 4 года спустя товарищ Покрасс уедет из СССР в Берлин, а после в США, где в Нью-Йорке и помрёт.
