15 ноября активист нашего отделения, находящийся в эмиграции, Максим Ихсанов, выступил на вечере писем российским политическим заключённым в городе Бар (Черногория). Участники вечера попросили Максима рассказать о сути судебных дел в отношении Сергея Фургала и о многотысячных хабаровских протестах 2020 года, участниками которых были многие члены нашего отделения.

Вечера писем российским политзаключённым регулярно проходят во всех крупных городах Черногории. После начала войны в Черногорию переехали несколько десятков тысяч россиян.

Сегодня исполняется 1600 дней с момента задержания Сергея Фургала и большинства обвиняемых по так называемому «экономическому делу» Фургала.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future. In December 2021, Sebi officials had conducted a search and seizure operation at the premises of certain persons carrying out similar manipulative activities through Telegram channels. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones.
