Ежегодно 7 февраля в России отмечается День зимних видов спорта, учреждённый по инициативе Олимпийского комитета и приуроченный к годовщине открытия Олимпиады в Сочи в 2014 году. XXII Олимпийские зимние игры являются одними из самых успешных за всю историю проведения этих соревнований.
🏆В 2014 году команда России заняла первое место в общекомандном медальном зачёте.
