Сейчас Дарчиев возглавляет департамент Северной Америки при МИД РФ, до 2021 года он был послом России в Канаде.
В августе 2022 года дипломат говорил, что поставки дальнобойных систем вооружения в Украину «расширят географические задачи спецоперации». В декабре 2022-го Дарчиев заявил, что американский ВПК в нынешней ситуации «извлекает сверхприбыли», а политический класс «солидарен в том, что война [должна быть] до последнего украинца».

And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
