Судя по прямой трансляции телеканала «Аль-Джазира» с площади Сарая в городе Газа, Роми Гонен, Эмили Дамари и Дорон Штейнбрехер уже находятся в машине Красного Креста. Машины пока не могут выехать с площади из-за толпы, которая там собралась. Вооруженные боевики ХАМАС пытаются оттеснить толпу от машин.
Дамари и Штейнбрехер были похищены из кибуца Кфар-Аза, у них есть второе гражданство — Великобритании и Румынии соответственно. Гонен похитили на фестивале Nova.
В обмен на освобождение заложниц Израиль должен выпустить из тюрем 90 палестинских заключенных. Ожидается, что это произойдет в ближайшие часы.
