لمَّا قرأت شرح العضد لمختصر ابن الحاجب على شيخنا المحقق ناصر الدين اللقاني، وكان يحضر ذلك الدرس من الفضلاء كثيرون تقر بهم العيون .. كان الشيخ يميل إلى مساعدة الماتن الذي هو ابن الحاجب؛ لأنه مالكيٌّ مثله، وكذلك المالكية من الحاضرين، فيتكلفون لردِّ ما يورده العضد عليه، وكنت أسعى في توجيه إيراد العضد وتوضيحه، وأنه - أعني العضد - غير متعصب ولا متحامل على ابن الحاجب. وأما بقية أهل الدرس من الحنفية والحنابلة فتارة يكونون مع المالكية، وتارة يكونون مع الشافعية

In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
