На первом в этом году заседании Исполкома Олимпийского комитета России утвердили наши рабочие планы и бюджет на год.

Мы приняли решение по обновленному составу ОКР. В него вошли члены МОК от России, представители спортивных федераций и других организаций. Теперь в составе ОКР 100 членов.

Было создано Бюро Исполкома ОКР. Комиссии ОКР будут реформированы. До 1 марта жду от коллег предложений на этот счет.

Завершили заседание на позитивной ноте – приняли решение наградить Почетным знаком ОКР «За заслуги в развитии олимпийского движения в России» 11 выдающихся людей, которые сделали значимый вклад в спорт.

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
