Давайте вместе вспомним, чем запомнился его первый срок, и заодно разберемся, почему его переизбрание — шаг, который страна себе позволить не может.

P.S.: Кстати, к Адгуру Агрба у нас есть и личный вопрос: как поживает наше обращение? После незаконного задержания наших активистов в мае 2023 года (что было доказано в Сухумском городском суде), мы обращались в прокуратуру с целью восстановления справедливости. Ответа, конечно же, так и не дождались. Сотрудники продолжают работать.

Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation." Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe.
