Мошенники осваивают новый способ обмана пользователей Telegram: в секретном чате жертвам якобы пишет поддержка, однако так у них пытаются угнать аккаунт.
Как рассказала РИА Новости эксперт направления "Народный фронт. Аналитика" Алла Храпунова, псевдоподдержка сообщает пользователю о поступившем запросе на удаление его учетной записи в мессенджере, а для "отмены" просит перейти по ссылке в секретном чате. Однако ссылка эта фишинговая, при введении логина и пароля злоумышленники получат доступ к аккаунту.
Эксперт призвала обращать внимание на значок верификации – синюю галочку, а также на то, что настоящий аккаунт поддержки в Telegram не создаёт секретных чатов и его нельзя заблокировать.

The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
