Первый поезд должен быть отправлен в страну для прохождения эксплуатационных испытаний в 2024 году. Контракт финансируется за счет кредитов, предоставленных Европейским инвестиционным банком и местным NRW.Bank.

2️⃣ 21 четырехвагонный и 20 шестивагонных поездов KISS на €600 млн (почти €3 млн за вагон) заказал у Stadler австрийский перевозчик OBB. Поставка будет первой по рамочному соглашению на 186 поездов общей стоимостью до €3 млрд. Машины должны быть введены в эксплуатацию в 2026 году. Подвижной состав будет выпущен на заводе в швейцарском Санкт-Маргретене.
