78 лет назад, в 1943 году, соединения 28-й армии под командованием генерала Василия Герасименко завершили семидневный штурм и прорвали оборону врага, освободив город, который находился в оккупации с июля 1942 года.
📍Ростов стал одним из самых разрушенных городов Советского Союза: из 274 промышленных предприятий после войны остались только шесть. Ужасы войны унесли жизни 43 тысяч жителей, из них 27 тысяч погибли в Змиевской балке, а более 50 тысяч были угнаны в Германию. До войны население города превышало полмиллиона человек, а после осталось всего 150 тысяч.

Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network.
