Завод, считается крупнейшим промышленным потребителем электроэнергии в Эстонии, испытывает серьезные трудности на фоне рекордных цен, которые в начале 2025 года достигли 184 евро за мегаватт-час против 75,5 евро годом ранее.
Руководство предприятия ежедневно анализирует рыночную ситуацию, однако текущие тарифы делают производство экономически нецелесообразным.
Финансовый директор завода Меэлис Кузьма подчеркнул, что зависимость стоимости энергии от погодных условий создает дополнительную нестабильность для бизнеса.

Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours.
