Указанная сумма состоит из 10 млрд долл. США новых инвестиций и 5 млрд долл. США с депозитов ОАЭ в ЦБ Египта.
Согласно заявлению главы правительства Египта, оставшиеся 20 млрд долл. США, которые ОАЭ выплатят в течение двух месяцев, будут также размещены в ЦБ АРЕ. Регулятор, в свою очередь, предоставит для финансирования проекта эквивалентную сумму в египетских фунтах.
