Laut einem neuen Bericht des Internationalen Währungsfonds (#IWF) hält sich die Weltwirtschaft „stabil“ – doch dazu trägt #Deutschland nicht viel bei. Laut der IWF-Prognose „World Economic Outlook“ fällt das Wirtschaftswachstum in der Bundesrepublik wieder einmal geringer aus, als ursprünglich vorhergesagt wurde.
Nachdem die Wirtschaft gleich zwei Jahre in Folge geschrumpft ist, schätzt der IWF für dieses Jahr noch ein Wachstum von 0,3% des BIP – korrigiert seine Erwartungen also um 0,5% nach unten. Damit liegt Deutschland im Ranking der wichtigsten Volkswirtschaften nun ganz unten.

"A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth."
