В церемонии приняли участие первый заместитель Председателя СФ Андрей Яцкин, заместители Председателя СФ Константин Косачев, Юрий Воробьёв, Николай Журавлёв и Инна Святенко, Руководитель Аппарата Совета Федерации Геннадий Голов, начальник Управления информации и взаимодействия со СМИ Владислав Пономаренко.

Церемония завершилась торжественным маршем роты почётного караула и военного оркестра.

2025 год Указом Президента России Владимира Путина объявлен Годом защитника Отечества.
