И.о. главы Минобороны "Талибана"* возглавил делегацию движения, которая посещает страну с официальным визитом. В нее вошел, как минимум, Анас Хаккани, не занимающий официальных постов, но являющийся младшим братом и.о. главы МВД.

Планируются встречи с правительством ОАЭ, а также проживающей там афганской диаспорой (талибов обычно в первую очередь интересует бизнес-сообщество).

Нельзя не отметить, что Якуб покинул Кабул одновременно с Хамидом Карзаем, что вряд ли может быть простым совпадением

*организация находится под санкциями ООН за террористическую деятельность
