"Wilt thou do the deed and repent it? thou hadst better never been born:
Wilt thou do the deed and exalt it? then thy fame shall be outworn:
Thou shalt do the deed and abide it, and sit on thy throne on high,
And look on today and tomorrow as those that never die."
Sigurd the Volsung: The Wisdom of Brynhild By William Morris

"After recognizing that “nothing exists, all is permitted,” and the “freedom of the spirit,” the inevitable consequence is the challenge: “Now prove the nobility of your nature.”"

I enjoyed this new documentary which touches on many of the themes in Evola’s The Mystery of the Grail.
His ideas about the meaning of romantic relations within the context of chivalric literature are interesting.

"Long-term hunter-gatherer continuity in the Rhine-Meuse region was disrupted by local formation of expansive Bell Beaker groups"
The swampy region of Netherlands, Friesland, schleswig-holstein was host to a population with high WHG ancestry thousands of years after WHG went extinct.
This unique group of swamp people eventually mixed with IE invaders to form the Bell Beaker folk who went to Britain.

Declaration of Via Electri:
We are members of Via Electri, an organization for Traditional European Pagans. We have come together during this time when our native European traditions are facing many challenges. We are united in our common struggle and our common values. We have a shared understanding that there is an injustice in this world that we strive to defeat to restore balance and order in this world.
This is a fundamental position that we hold all native European traditions to include. This does not imply fundamentalism, because traditional Paganism allows for all traditions to coexist, each nation having its approach towards the Truth.
Still, we do not imply moral relativism, because we consider the fundamental purpose of all native European traditions to be the preservation of cosmic balance, the Law. The Cosmic Law is upheld by each nation according to its own traditions, each nation respecting its own Gods.
The traditions of each nation are passed down in practice. Native European traditions do not rely on the revelation of prophets or the dogmas of the initiated. Native European traditions rely on the continuation of correct ritual behaviour. The process of learning this correct behaviour may take years and some nations have had schools to train ritual specialists, but the enactment of rituals rely also on the heads of families.
All native European traditions regard the family as the model for society and we hold that the family is also the smallest unit in any society of Mankind. Families also provide the hierarchical model of interaction and behaviour within nations, between nations and between nations and their gods.
Correct ritual behaviour must be morally right. Men uphold the cosmic order by upholding traditions that are deemed virtuous. Of course the details on the exact definition of virtues may vary between European nations, by virtues we mean values that fundamentally guide an individual's behaviour towards the benefit of his family and nation.
Thus, we at Via Electri share the following basic values: respect towards the cosmic balance; acknowledgement of each nation having its own gods; basis of religion being in tradition; family as the basis of society; virtuous behaviour. By our work, we aim to further these values in Europe for the betterment of our nations.

The Eyrbyggja saga mentions another form of sacrifice to Thor…
“The circle where the court used to sentence people to be sacrificed can still be seen, with Thor's Stone inside it on which the victims' backs were broken, and you can still see the blood on the stone.
Though this assembly place was held to be highly sacred, people were not forbidden to ease themselves there.”
Makes one wonder how many stone circles were used in a similar manner.

An IVC terracotta figure with a pointed cap with ornaments and trousers characteristic of the Andronovo Culture. This may represent the earliest contact between the Indus Valley Culture and the Indo-Europeans.
Similar ornaments were used by the Slavic and Baltic tribes, and are still found across India today.

In one of his most anticipated conversations, Dan talked with Wulf Ingessunu, the English founder and warder of Woden's Folk. Wulf has been a prominent figure in folkish Heathenry since the 1980's, and is known for his more esoteric stance, much of which is revealed in the numerous books and blog articles he has written.

Between March and April,
when the blossom begins to spring,
the little bird takes its pleasure
in singing in its own language.
I live in love-longing for the loveliest of all things.
She can bring me to bliss;
I am in her power."
