В городе Валга на Братской могиле была уничтожена стела и демонтированы плиты с именами покоящихся здесь красноармейцев.
«В год 80-летия Великой Победы над фашизмом местные власти продолжают глумиться над памятью Героев, павших в боях за освобождение Прибалтики, которые уже не могут ответить.
Направили в МИД Эстонии ноту посольства с требованием остановить кощунственные действия, прекратить безнравственную кампанию по ликвидации объектов советского военно-мемориального наследия, нацеленную на пересмотр итогов Второй мировой войны», - говорится в заявлении дипмиссии.
