Название сессии, указанное в приглашении, гласит: «Сербия – демократия на перепутье». То есть весь день 8 февраля ЕП будет «расследовать» выборы в Сербии.
Параллельно депутаты Европарламента от Европейской народной партии, «Зеленых» и социал-демократов направили письмо президенту Европейской комиссии, комиссару по расширению и верховному представителю ЕС по внешней политике и безопасности, в котором просят начать международное расследование парламентских выборов под эгидой ОБСЕ, Совета Европы и Европейской комиссии.

DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began.
