Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
