На третьем альбоме своего проекта upsammy нидерландка Тесса Торсинг выражает в музыке свой интерес к исследованию различных окружающих мест и пространств. Из собранных в этих пространствах звуков она создает замысловатые ломаные биты, привнося таким образом в IDM электроакустические методы. Ритмы дополняются препарированным вокалом, записями акустических инструментов и красивыми синтезаторными мотивами - все это складывается в хрупкий саунд с большим количеством "воздуха". С одной стороны, музыка получается достаточно мягкой и даже мелодичной, с другой - она далека от безобидного IDM "как в 90-х", стремящегося во что бы то ни стало сделать ностальгирующему слушателю приятно. Это, скорее, работа, двигающая жанр дальше, не совершая при этом чересчур радикальных выпадов. Она просто уверенно делает свое дело с вполне впечатляющим результатом.
