Предснежно небо. Сонный лес молчит –
не скрипнет ни сосною, ни тропою.
Но, может, распогодится в ночи
до синего морозного покоя,

и ветки зазвенят над головой
в серебряном своём переплетении...
Чудные дни. Загадано с лихвой,
но будто ждёшь всему благословения –

оттуда, где навек предрешено,
что побеждают жизнь, любовь и вера;
оттуда, где исчислены давно
и вес, и мера...

И будет рыжий свет гореть в окне,
на свет заглянут звёздные медведи...
Не говори сегодня о войне.
Давай сегодня только о победе.

Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea.
